Labels:text | screenshot OCR: Writing this chapter was both an exciting and experimental procedure. Exciting, because at last I could put all my research to use. Experimental, due to the fact that I wasn't entirely sure where the story would go. Unlike many other writers, I work in free form. At the beginning of a novel I have all my main characters, and a couple of dozen scenes that I'd like to include, But, what I never know at that stage, is if the cast will accept them. Sometimes, my characters take on a half-life of their own, and have a better idea of where they're headed than I do. Whenever that starts to happen, I know that the best policy is to go with the flow. Even if it seems to make no sense at the time! The end results are stories which do not go where the reader - or writer - is expecting. Adam Webb Exit
